Oncology Nurse Lecturer is responsible for the assessment of educational needs and implementation of education directed toward the goal of clinical competence and cost effective patient care
- Minimum Qualification: Bachelor
- Experience Level: Mid level
- Experience Length: 3 years
Job Description/Requirements
Key responsibilities of the position
- Participate in student selection and admission procedures.
- Lead and coordinate new programs.
- Teach and facilitate student learning.
- Coordinate and participate in students’ learning activities.
- Provide counselling and guidance to students/learners
- Participate in curriculum development and review for both Basic and Post Basic courses.
- Participate in the development and review of procedures, policies and standards.
- Organize and participate in the students’ welfare events.
QUALIFICATION AND COMPETENCIES
Education and Professional Training
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BscN)
- Higher Diploma in Oncology Nursing
- Certificate in EPALS/ACLS will be an added advantage
- Valid Nursing Council of Kenya Practice licence
- Nursing Council of Kenya Registration Certificate
