Job Description

We are a leading Pharmaceutical Distributor, sourcing and supplying pharmaceuticals across all channels in East Africa.

We are seeking to hire a Sales Manager to join our dedicated team. This role reports to the Directors.

Responsibilities

• Promote our pharmaceutical products to healthcare providers.


• Determine and implement marketing strategies, analyzing trends and results.


• Track and provide regular reports on individual and team performance including market intelligence.


• Maintaining professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, conferences and seminars.


• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts.


• Organize special meetings with doctors and healthcare professionals with the guidance of the daily and monthly planner.


• Stay up to date with new product launches and ensure sales team members are up to date.


• Bring new customers and maintain a long-lasting business relationship with the existing customers.


• Ensure timely payment and collections on sales made.


• Recruit and train new medical representatives.


• Monitor and analyze performance metrics and suggest improvement.


• Ensure sales team members follow their monthly planners by following up regularly and holding meetings.


• Conduct research and identify new potential customers and new market opportunities.


• Provide timely and effective solutions aligned to customers’ needs.


• Provide regular reports to the management as required.


• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related tasks.

Qualifications

• Degree/Diploma in Pharmacy or any Science


• At least 4-5 years of experience as a medical representative


• Sound knowledge of pharmaceutical products


• Great team player


• Should have excellent analytical and presentation skills


• Excellent leadership and management skills


• Should have good interpersonal and communication skills


• Excellent customer service skills
