Job Summary
Successful candidate will correctly interpret prescriptions, dispense medication for both in and out patient, do record keeping, stock taking & pharmaceutical requisitions
- Minimum Qualification: Diploma
- Experience Level: Entry level

Job Description/Requirements
Location: 4 positions (Shalom Community Hospital -Athi River and Machakos)
Job Description
1. Prepare and dispense prescribed medications and pharmaceutical preparations according to patients' prescription.
2. Provide advice for non-prescription medications.
3. Monitor drugs and other medical supplies levels and initiate the procurement process.
4. Take inventory and track medication and supply orders.
5. Keep records of all drug stocks ordered, drugs issued to clients and stocks remaining.
6. Prepare and submit reports on daily sales undertaken and achievement to the management as required.
7. Arrange drugs in the required manner.
8. Establish and maintain good relationships with customers which includes clinics, doctors, hospitals and other institutions.
9. Maintain and register DDA & antibiotics
10. Any other duties as assigned in line with the portfolio
Min Qualification
1. Diploma in Pharmaceutical Technology
2. Certificate of enrollment as a pharmaceutical technologist by the Pharmacy and Poisons Board
3. Valid practicing license from the Pharmacy and Poisons Board
4. Proficiency in computer applications majorly MS Word and Excel
Min experience
• 1 year in a similar position
• Background experience in a busy hospital is an added advantage
