Plumber
Job Responsibilities
- To ensure that there is good flow of water from the main tank to all the other areas.
- To Repair and maintain plumbing replacing defective washers, replacing or mending broken pipes and opening clogged drains.
- Assist in developing, constructing, repairing, and maintaining basic water storage.
- To assist in extension of water pumping systems to other sections.
- To assist in checking the flow of water in all the sections in the hospital.
- To unblock sinks and sewages when there is a blockage to ensure a good and clean environment.
- To check functionality of the water heating system and service when it’s due.
- To maintain an appropriate record of repairs and replacements.
- Analyse problems and identify appropriate tools and materials for repair.
maintain an inventory for the department
Qualifications
- Certificate or Diploma in Craft-Plumbing
- At least 2-3 years’ experience in a similar position
- Ability to build relationships, a good team player, good communication and interpersonal skills
