Job Title: Procurement and Factory Supervisor

Department: Factory

Reporting to: Operations Manager

Location: Nairobi

Gross Salary: Ksh 60,000 to 80,000

C-MAX Cemex Holdings Limited is an ultra-modern Expanded Polystyrene Sintered (EPS) Panel Factory, powered by M2 Technology, looking to hire an experienced Factory Supervisor to manage the  procurement and factory Operations to ensure that factory targets are met.

Responsibilities

• Inventory Management and Control of spare parts


• Collaborating with the Factory Admin to ensure Factory Inventory is up to date and sufficient to cater for any possible need.


• Collaborate with the Factory Admin in issuing of items from the Factory store


• Raising Factory Purchase Requests


• Collaborate with the Procurement Officer in sourcing, supplier sourcing and supplier relationship management.


• Submitting Weekly/Monthly Inventory and Production reports


• Inspection, testing, and verification of all factory receivables


• Developing and continually implement innovative strategies to streamline factory operations


• Enforce company policies and guidelines


• Help manufacturing staff achieve company goals by communicating expectations, planning, monitoring, and evaluating job results


• Managing and monitoring of the Factory staff


• Collaborating with the Senior mechanics and engineers to ensure that the Factory machinery is in good working condition.


• Developing schedules for servicing and periodic Inspection of Factory Machinery


• Preparing and planning of daily production schedules


• Ensuring production is completed in a timely manner


• Supervision of Loading and offloading of dispatches and receivables


• Collaborating with the Health and Safety officer to ensure compliance of health and safety regulations to prevent accidents and injuries


• Assist in screening, recruiting, and training new factory workers.


• Continually evaluating performance of Factory staff and providing feedback


• Ensure there is smooth running of operations in the Factory and efficient communication with codependent departments

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Procurement, Industrial Management, or any other related field


• Certification in production and inventory management


• Proficiency in Microsoft NAV system is an added advantage


• Proficient in Microsoft office


• Strong Management and Leadership skills


• Proven experience of at least 5 years in a managerial or supervisory role within a factory/plant set up.


• Sound knowledge of industry specific factory equipment


• Ability to multitask


• Excellent Analytical and Problem solving skills


• Outstanding time management skills


• Effective communication skills
