Job Description


Key Responsibilities:



  • Ensure compliance and implementation of the set procurement strategies, policies, and procedures in line with the company strategic objectives.

  • Procure goods and services in compliance with approved policies and procedures based on user requests.

  • Prepare procurement documents including raising and issuing RFQs, LPOs and maintaining accurate records.

  • Perform supplier prequalification, appraisals and maintain the supplier database.

  • Collaborate with key internal users to ensure the clarity of the specifications and expectations. Analyze user requisitions for compliance with the processes and policies.

  • Analyze the quotations from suppliers and perform comparative analysis to ensure value for money. Negotiations with suppliers for better quality, pricing, and delivery.

  • Perform supplier appraisals and due diligence during onboarding process.

  • Supplier relations: following up on orders with suppliers ensuring timely deliveries and suppliers’ issues are well sorted out.

  • Assist in setting out Reorder levels and ensure restocking when levels go down.

  • Work hand in hand with the store dept by coordinating receipt of materials, materials return to suppliers and communication to suppliers on the same.

  • Any other responsibility assigned by the procurement lead or management.


Qualifications:



  • Must relevant bachelor’s degree in procurement or supply chain.

  • Must have 5+ years of experience in procurement and supply chain preferably for the construction sector.

  • Proven proficiency in Microsoft Office, procurement and purchasing software.

  • Must have membership of KISM/CIPS.

  • Must be detail-oriented, analytical, organized and possess strong communication and problem-solving skills.
