SPECIFIC DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure stocks (dry store & cold store) do not go below the reorder level by requisitioning stocks in good time
- Receive products from the factory (production) and maintain accurate and up to date records particularly Goods Received Notes and Goods Issued Notes.
- Maintenance of stock ledger
- Managing the stores and ensure high levels of cleanliness and product arrangement
- Co-ordinate with the Factory Manager to plan and manage distribution of products to various markets in a timely and efficient manner to meet demand and priorities
- Engagement & management of suppliers, manage supplier contracts, purchase orders, invoices, purchase & stores requisitions
- Coordinate with sales/field staff to ensure timely delivery of products and resolve any disparities in the ordering process
- Receive and account for all returns from sales/field staff and maintain appropriate control systems
- Estimate and manage cost parameters in line with company budgets for purchases made
Education Certificate Of Higher Education
- Certificate in purchasing and supplies management / store keeping
More Details on Experience
- Three years relevant experience preferably in FMCG/ manufacturing set up.
- Knowledge of stock control systems (Bill of Materials)
