Job Description
JOB DESCRIPTION
Reporting to the Manager - Monitoring Evaluation Reporting and Learning, the position holder will manage the MPESA & Safaricom Foundations websites and digital content, Monitoring and Evaluation, Data analysis and ISO integration activities (ISO 26000)
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Management of Safaricom & M-PESA Foundation Websites.
- Developing and implementing data analyses, data collection systems and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality.
- Assisting the Monitoring and Evaluation team to update the project database, synthesizing M&E data, and review of projects/programme.
- Preparing final analysis reports for Management to understand the -analysis steps, enabling them to take important decisions based on various facts and trends.
- Supporting the team in write ups for prospect projects that the foundation has interest in and would wish to engage in.
- Working closely with Digital Transformation Team to identify process improvements opportunities, propose system modifications and device data management strategies.
- Collating all the required information for the Foundations digital assets
- Provide quality assurance of Safaricom and M-Pesa Foundation data.
- ISO integration activities (ISO 26000).
- Ongoing employee engagement.
QUALIFICATIONS
- A degree in Information Technology
- Proven working experience as a Data Analyst
- Proven experience of relevant IT systems
- Excellent Microsoft Power BI & Microsoft Excel capability (Macros, complex queries, etc.)
- Experience of producing coherent reports to include statistics and graphical analysis of information.
- The ability to carry out some data analysis would be highly advantageous.
- Conceptual thinker, ability to wade through data and arrive at conclusions.
- Strong communication skills – written and verbal – with graphs and trends for ease of understanding.
- Multitasking and prioritization skills required to function in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional presentation required.
- Uphold 100 % accuracy, integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality at all times.
- Ability to work under tight timelines and deliver accurate results.
- Conceptual thinker, ability to wade through data and arrive at conclusions.
- Strong communication skills – written and verbal – with graphs and trends for ease of understanding.
