The position will be responsible for the Company’s quality assurance program and compliance tracking. The job holder will establish procedures and quality standards for the company and monitor these against agreed targets.

Job Description/Requirements

- Determining, negotiating, and agreeing on in-house quality procedures, standards, and specifications.
- Setting customer service standards, handling, and monitoring customer complaints received.
- Setting requirements with suppliers for raw materials received and ensuring compliance.
- Ensuring that the manufacturing processes comply with HU and national standards.
- Working with operating staff to establish standards, systems, and procedures.
- Working with the R&D team to develop new products and monitoring the progress.
- Analyzing records of product returns to identify specific problems or trends over time.
- Training, motivating, coaching, and correcting employees to ensure that standards are met.
- Acting as a catalyst for change and improvement in performance and quality for warehouse and shops.
- Recording, analyzing, and distributing statistical information to find areas for improvement.
- Supervising the QC and Housekeeping Staff.
- Reviewing processes to ensure that they align with current trends.
- Prepare and update company quality documentation to achieve ISO 9001 certification.
- Advising on HSE gaps and related issues and working closely with the HSE committee to ensure that the company is meeting all safety regulatory requirements and ensure a safe workplace
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Food science or related courses.
- Minimum 5 years in Quality Assurance experience in a food processing industry, preferably with an FMCG background.
- Have a Quality Assurance & Control related Certification.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite, and Management Systems.
- Demonstrated practical experiencing applying QA fundamentals including resultant data analysis and problem-solving techniques.
- Demonstrate strong Communication, interpersonal, presentation, prioritization, project management and planning skills.
- Demonstrate critical attention to detail and commitment to results delivery while exceeding customer expectations.
- Ability to develop, influence and maintain collaborative relationships with peers and colleagues across the organization, as well as internal and external clients
- Ability to work well autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment.
