Position: Quality Controller
Location: Nairobi
Job description
We are a manufacturing company based in Nairobi County.
Responsibilities
- Testing and inspection of raw materials/products at various stages of production process.
- Responsible for the approval of jobs in rotogravure printing, seaming, lamination, cutting, extrusion and dispatch.
- Perform root cause analysis on finished product and raw materials failure.
- Perform regular quality assessments on all incoming materials from suppliers.
- Undertake process online checks.
- Recommend improvements to the production process to ensure quality control.
- Document inspection outcomes by completing detailed reports (including online checks) and performance records.
- Teach the production team about quality control concerns to improve product excellence.
- Resolve quality-related issues in a timely manner.
- Proactively attend to customer complaints and ensure actions are timely closed
Qualifications:
- Certificate/Diploma in Analytical Chemistry or any other related field.
- A minimum of Three (3) years’ experience.
- Experience in the printing industry will be an added advantage
