Our client is a leading trusted provider of housing solutions in Kenya and they are seeking to hire a highly competent accountant who will be ensuring company compliance with accounting standards and practices.
Industry: Real Estate
Location: Nairobi
Gross Salary: 50k – 55k
Responsibilities
- Timely preparation of all financial reports – Profit and loss, cash flow statement, Balance sheet.
- Collecting, analyzing and summarizing accounts information
- Recording and maintaining the accounting transactions
- Filing monthly VAT returns
- Accounts reconciliation
- Payroll administration
- Proper filing of accounting documents
- Preparing and submitting financial reports including weekly, monthly operating reports, financial statements, audit reports, inventory, and capital purchases.
- Ensuring the transparency and efficiency of the organizations financial operations and to safeguard compliance with reporting guidelines.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree and CPA (K)
- At least 4 years work experience in accounting
- Experience in procurement is an added advantage
- Tally proficient
- Computer skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment, and commercially savvy
- Problem solving, Analytical and organizational Skills
- Age between 28-40 years
