Position: Registered Nurse
Industry: Healthcare
Our client, a leading healthcare provider is urgently looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated Registered Nurse.
The ideal candidate will be a responsible and well-trained professional able to give the best nursing care with little supervision.
The goal is to promote patient’s well-being by providing high quality nursing care.
You will be compassionate and cool-tempered.
You will also be able to follow health and safety guidelines faithfully and consistently and other matters by performing the following duties;
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Work in collaboration with the Clinical team and our client’s management team to implement effective procedures, rules, regulations that are consistent with the organization values and policies
- Monitor patient’s condition and assess their needs to provide the best possible care and advice
- Observe and interpret patient’s symptoms and communicate them to physicians
- Adjust and administer patient’s medication and provide treatments according to physician’s orders
- Perform routine procedures (blood pressure measurements, administering injections etc.) and fill in patients’ charts
- Collaborate with physicians and nurses to devise individualized care plans for patients
- Ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and protocols for nursing services
- Facilitating patients, admission and initiating discharge plan
- Ensure a cohesive and collaborative approach to ensure a high-quality service delivery at all times
- Maintain client and clinic operational data using electronic medical records and other information systems
- Any other duty that may be delegated
Key Competencies & Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing or any other related field from a recognized institution
- Must have at least 2 years of experience working as a licensed Nurse
- Hold an active Nursing license from the Nursing Council of Kenya (NCK)
- Highly resourceful, independent, and self-starting
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Attention to Detail
