Job Summary
We are a medium sized restaurant in Nairobi seeking to recruit a storekeeper.
- Minimum Qualification: Diploma
- Experience Level: Entry level
- Experience Length: 1 year
Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- In charge of daily issuances.
- Ensure company inventory is maintained in accordance to company policies.
- Keep records and generate daily reports on purchases, issuances and stock levels.
- Develop an active process for measuring supply inventory and determining purchasing needs.
- Replenishment of stock within the week.
- Compare product deliveries with issued purchase orders.
- Coordinate with the restaurant supervisor to do reconciliation and generate daily reports on operational control.
- Assisting the restaurant supervisor to coordinate and supervise restaurant staff.
- Ensure accountability of stock.
- Control stock levels and timely ordering of supplies.
Qualifications and skills
- Diploma from Utalii college/recognized institution
- At least 1 year experience
- Good organizational skills.
- Pleasant, polite manner for dealing with public as well as staff.
- Must demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Must be familiar with POS system
