Job Title: Trainee Technician (3 months Internship)
Locations: Westlands, Nairobi – Kenya
Job description
To install and maintain all Retriever vehicle tracking and recovery systems according to the Retriever fitment techniques and quality standard. This is an exciting opportunity for a young, dynamic individual interested in building a successful career with Retriever.
Responsibilities
- Handle full installation functions
- Ensure that tracking device is installed properly and according to standard firsttime round
- Follow installation policies and procedures
- Utilise the correct consumables and hardware
- Ensure quality of fitments are maintained
- Communicate and explain the product package clearly to customers
- Maintain neatness of vehicle, tools and installation consumables
- Attend all training sessions scheduled
- Observe training officers and acquire adequate product knowledge
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 – 2 years’ experience working as a Technician or in the AutomotiveElectronics or Motor Mechanics industry
- Certificate of Secondary Education
- Automotive Engineering Qualification advantageous
- Must be willing to travel and be in possession of valid Motorcycle Drivers License
- Attention to detail
- Customer Services Orientated
- Problem Solving Skills
- Excellent Communication Skills
- Excellent command of English
