Job Description
Ensure quality, efficient and integral services in the pharmacy.
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership in the pharmacy for in & outpatient departments • Assist in preparation of drug regiments.
- Ensure adequate stock levels and look out for expiries.
- Strict maintenance and documentation of the DDA.
- Ensure procurement of quality & cost-effective drugs.
- Comprehensive knowledge of pharmacy and drugs.
- Work in close collaboration with clinical functions to ensure delivery of high-quality health services.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures for best practices in the pharmacy department
- Ensures the pharmacy department follows all state and local laws and bodies.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Pharmacy Degree from an institution recognized by the Pharmacy and Poisons Board.
- BLS qualification from an AHA accredited Training Centre. • Certificate of registration awarded by the Pharmacy and Poisons Board (PPB).
- Valid practicing license from the Pharmacy and Poisons Board (PPB). • Certificate in computer applications
- Certificate of Good Conduct
