Job Summary
Our client, a hotel industry player, is looking to recruit a self-driven, honest and competent sales and marketing person.
- Minimum Qualification: Bachelor
- Experience Level: Mid level
- Experience Length: 2 years
Job Description
Location: South Coast- Msambweni
Successful candidate MUST BE willing to relocate if not currently working in Coast.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Engages in superior customer service by making information readily available
- Persists in sales even in the face of failure
- Demonstrates products and services as deemed necessary by clients and management
- Answers questions from clients
- Makes product knowledge readily available to self and able to translate the same into sales through demonstration to the customers
- Finds ways to sell products in the face of a down market
- Researches client base to find new types of customers and sells to them accordingly
- Creates a plan for gaining customers and then retaining them
- Analyzes and creates a plan for engaging the target market
- Analyzes the competition to create a plan for engagement
- Makes product appealing to the target market
- Demonstrates superior time management skills and meets sales targets
Skills and Qualifications
- Degree or Diploma in Sales and Marketing with 2-3 years of experience in the hospitality industry specifically tours and travel
- Superior Written and Verbal Communication Skills
- Demonstrated Experience, Courteous, Basic Computer Literacy, Microsoft Office, Persistent, Flexible, Creativity
- Call Centre experience a plus
