Job Vacancy: Sales Representative / Agent
1 Position
Job Location: Ukunda
Salary: KES 30K – 50K Gross
What we are looking for;
- Minimum 1-year experience in sales, preferably B2B, preferably with a suite of products. Talking to business owners and procurement managers is not the same as sampling in a Carrefour.
- A desire to be in sales – It’s not for everyone, but for those who love it, this can be great.
- Preferably a college degree. If not a college degree, a strong and demonstrated aptitude and willingness to learn (candidates need to understand basic coconut production and the different varieties of what we sell)
- Terrific relationship manager – Most of the role is making sure that current buyers continue to appreciate and think fondly of the firm. This requires a professional approach.
- Attention to detail – Someone who reads every word of the email, makes sure to double-check payments / receipts, and is capable of (light) inventory management.
- Financial understanding – Someone who knows the difference between a proforma, an invoice, a purchase order, a receipt, etc.
- Computer application fluency – Word, Excel, PPT, Google documents, email.
- Proactive / positive attitude – finding new leads is the way we grow the business (and their salary), and sometimes that requires a lot of tenacity and fortitude.
- Good English – they will need to be able to communicate with me, and that is important.
- Someone who is motivated by commission.
