Job Title: Senior Specialist – AWS Cloud Cybersecurity Specialist

Brief Description

As the Senior Specialist – AWS Cloud Cyber Security Specialist, you will be responsible for:

• Conducting security reviews and Securing All AWS Cloud instances and any systems hosted therein


• Ensuring All AWS instances are regularly scanned for Security vulnerabilities and appropriately Hardened


• Ensuring 100% logging and monitoring for AWS


• Maintenance and support of various AWS cybersecurity systems including (but not limited to) Firewalls, WAF, IPS\IDS, Logging Solutions, Network etc


• Act as the Security team lead in the configuration, management and upgrade of any Cloud security systems or Technology systems


• Troubleshoot and remediate Level 1/2/3 issues impacting AWS Cybersecurity operations


• Ensure all new and existing systems/products/services comply with Company’s security policies & standards and other industry best practices


• Improvement of the Cyber security posture of the company through several initiatives, including but not limited to Cyber Security Baselines.

Qualifications

• At least one certification in Cloud Security: preferably AWS Cloud security


• Degree in Electrical Eng./Computer Science/information Technology or equivalent Technology-related degree


• At least one professional Information Security Qualification: CISSP/CISM/CISA


• Advance competencies experience in Information Security Technologies

Skills and Experience

• Minimum of TWO years full-time hands-on AWS Security experience in security audits for AWS Systems\solutions\ Instances or deploying or managing AWS Security systems.


• Good communication skills and team player.


• Experience in the use of security tools.


• Project management skills, and proven task execution (getting things done).


• Superior Report writing skills.


• Analytical Thinking.
