Job Vacancy: Accountant
Ref No: AC/SSSL/2021
Main Duties and Responsibilities
1. Certifying and verifying returns, documents, payment vouchers, receipts, and transaction records
2. Ensuring safe custody of accountable documents
3. Monitoring expenditure against approved Budgets
4. Reconciliations and filing monthly returns.
5. Preparation of financial statements
6. Any other duty assigned by CEO/Board of management
Minimum Qualifications
1. Must be a holder of a Business-related degree (Accounts/Finance) from a recognized University.
2. Must be a CPA K holder and in good standing.
3. Must have attained C+ and above in KCSE
4. Minimum 3 years’ experience.
5. Must be proficient in computer applications with a bias in ERP solutions particularly NAVISION
6. Must be mature and demonstrates high level of honesty and communication skills (oral and written).
7. Have demonstrated high analytical and communication skills.
8. Understand Sacco policies and procedures.
9. Have fulfilled chapter Six requirements – KRA tax compliance, HELB clearance certificate, Certificate of Good conduct, CRB clearance Certificate, EACC clearance certificate (Attach)
