• Create daily content and manage all social media sites (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest, Tumblr, Issuu, Vimeo, Hootsuite, LinkedIn)


• Develop a deep understand of the brands’ social media presence and create a social media calendar to maintain audience engagement


• Continuously increase current social media following and engagement


• Identify and report notable threats and opportunities on digital media surrounding the company to the appropriate management team members


• Demonstrate ability to map out a comprehensive social media strategic plan


• Develop relevant content to reach the company’s target customers


• Manage all published content (images, video and written) online


• Monitor, listen and respond to users in a “social” way to engage current and new audiences


• Curate content that drives traffic to our e-commerce website for purposes of conversions for example opening streams for cross-promotions


• Create and manage promotions and social ad campaigns


• Manage efforts in building online reviews and reputation and develop an online system for capturing happy, loyal customer online reviews.


• Become an advocate for the company in social media spaces, engaging in dialogues and answering questions where appropriate


• Monitor social media trends and analyze key digital media metrics to advise management team members


• Compile reports for management showing ROI results to measure the impact of social media campaigns


• Analyze campaigns and translate qualitative and quantitative data into recommendations and plans for revising social media and advertising campaigns.


• Monitor effective benchmarks (best practices) to ensure our social media accounts are up to standard


• Analyze, review, and report on effectiveness of past campaigns in an effort to maximize results f future campaigns


• Monitor current global social media tools, applications, channels, design and strategies


• Displays in-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms, their respective participants and how each platform can be deployed in different scenarios


• Demonstrates winning social customer service techniques

Qualifications and Experience

• A degree or a diploma from a reputable organization


• Must have proficiency in writing skills


• Should be proficient in social media content development


• Efficient time management skills


• Must be a team player


• SEO knowledge and understanding is an advantage


• Graphic design knowledge is an added advantage


• Exhibits the ability to analyze social media analytics
