Job Description
Sheer Logic Management Consultants is seeking to engage a dynamic individual for a Software Engineer (Microsoft Dynamics Navision) position for one of our clients.
Job Purpose: Our goal is to bring efficiency in the management of financial institutions by first understanding the business needs then come up with ICT solutions and aligning the solutions in accordance to the business needs.
To achieve this, we are seeking an energetic software engineer in Microsoft Dynamics Navision with strong technical and programming skills in CAL to join our ICT team in Nairobi and help make innovation a pillar in the financial sector.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Configure and deliver MS Dynamics NAV software and components in all functional areas.
2. Create new and modify existing customization and integrations as requested by the business units.
3. Test functionality developed by the development team against business requirements.
4. Support and drive process change and communication in line with NAV best practice.
5. Assist with functional specifications of customizations and integrations required for NAV implementations.
Minimum Requirements
1. MUST have a Degree/Diploma in IT/Computer Science.
2. At least 3 years’ experience working with MS Dynamics (Navision).
3. Conversant with programming languages especially in CAL language.
4. Conversant with database management language (SQL).
5. General knowledge in MFI/banking ERP systems.
6. Credit Management and proficiency in excel will be added advantage.
