Our client in the Agribusiness industry has retained us to fill in the position of a Staff Van Driver.

Job Summary: Provide transportation of employees to and from designated pick up and drop off points, in a safe secure and professional manner.

The ideal candidate should meet the following minimum qualifications and be immediately available for the specified tasks.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

1. Provide transportation of employees to and from designated pick and drop off points, in a safe secure and professional manner.

2. Maintain a professional image and attitude within and outside the company premises especially when interacting with clients, visitors and co‐workers and other road users.

3. Drive safely, responsibly and be prepared for all road conditions

4. Pre and post trip checks of the vehicle each time it is used

5. Fuel the vehicle as required and record information as per procedure

6. Maintain cleanliness of the assigned vehicle.

7. Report unsafe conditions on the vehicle and collection routes

8. Use the safe work procedures related to COVID 19

9. Ensure the vehicle is parked in a safe and secure parking when on out of office.

10. Perform other related activities as deliveries and office runs as directed by direct report

Required Skills and Qualification

1. Must possess a valid PSV Driver’s license

2. Must have experience of over 3 years working in a similar position

3. Pass a mandatory pre‐employment drug and alcohol screening.

4. Must pass a mandatory criminal background test.

5. Training in Defensive Driving will be an added advantage

6. Calm, pleasant and helpful manner

7. Excellent driving skills and habits

8. Map reading ability

9. Conversant with Nairobi, Kiambu, Murangá counties routes.

10. Ability to communicate effectively with all parties

11. Commitment to excellence in customer service
