Vacant Position: Stationery Senior Sales Executive


Overall Objective: The overall objective of this role is to plan, implement, manage and oversee the company’s sales strategy in the Kenya.


Responsibilities



  • Ensure the availability of stock for sales.

  • Maintaining accurate sales records.

  • Research and recommend prospects for new business opportunities.

  • Research, analyze and recommend applicable sales platforms.

  • Build and maintain relationships with clients and prospects.

  • Stay current with trends and competitors to identify improvements or recommend new products.

  • Create frequent reviews and reports with sales and financial data.

  • Negotiate/close deals and handle complains or objections.

  • Build and maintain professional networks.

  • Setting up meetings with potential clients and listening to their wishes and concerns.

  • Presenting products demonstrations to the clients.

  • Establishing new business links.

  • Participate in conferences, exhibitions, and industry meet-ups for business development.

  • Working towards achieving the sales target.

  • Conduct market research to evaluate gaps and opportunities.

  • Collaborate within teams to achieve better results.

  • Take feedback from customers and share it with support teams.

  • Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on products.


Requirements



  • At least 7 years’ experience in a sales or marketing role preferably in stationery industry.

  • Bachelor’s degree in sales and marketing, Business Administration or relevant field.

  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office software.

  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented, desire to deliver results.

  • Ability to create and deliver presentations.

  • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills.

  • The skills to work both independently and as part of a team.

  • Great interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Deep understanding of negotiating techniques and marketing tactics.

  • The ability to negotiate sales and address any concerns/reservations of potential customers.

  • A positive, confident and determined approach.

  • Ability to adapt and grow in a competitive environment.
