Job Description
Job Title: | STORES CLERK | Reports To: | PROCUREMENT & STORES MANAGER | |
Function: | STORES MANAGEMENT. | Duty Station: Laikipia. | ||
Responsible for: | ||||
To coordinate stores activities and processes in order to ensure an efficient, cost effective and professional delivery of services.
| ||||
Key Tasks | ||||
1. Stores and stock management: – Tracking item stock levels and maintaining optimum levels for all items. 2. Office Errands - Performing general office clerical duties. 3. Maintaining records as required. 4. Complete progress reports and other forms as required. 5. Maintaining and generating daily stock reports. 6. In liaison with the Stores Supervisor, carry out weekly physical stock inspections. 7. Checking invoices for accuracy. 8. Providing logistics support for the movement of all stocks 9. Providing information to support reports, as agreed, on all relevant order requirements, including numbers and material descriptions. | ||||

Knowledge, experience and qualifications required | ||||
1. Minimum of a diploma in supply chain management and related fields. 2. Minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience in stores management. 3. Excellent computer skills. | ||||

1. Communication and customer service skills. 2. Strong problem solving and organizational skills. 3. Ability to multi‐task and work under pressure in a hardship environment. |
