Supply Chain Management Officer Job, Latest Supply Chain Jobs,

Pursuit to the county Government Act 2012, section 59 (1) (a) and (b) the County Public Service Board of Marsabit wishes to recruit competent and qualified citizens to fill the following vacant positions in the underlisted County departments of Health Services, Lands, Energy & Physical Planning, Tourism, Culture & Social Service, Trade, Industry and Enterprise Development and Public Administration, Coordination and ICT.

CPSBM03/12/03/2021: Supply Chain Management Officer II -Job Group J (3 Posts)

Terms of Service: Permanent and Pensionable

Responsibilities

• Issuing and receiving items and documents at the stores


• Assisting in stock taking periodically /Stock inventory management


• Preparing monthly procurement related reports


• Ensuring proper reconciliation


• Maintain accurate records of purchases and pricing Create and maintain good relationships with vendors/suppliers;


• Maintain records of purchases, pricing, and other important data Review and analyze all vendors/suppliers, supply, and price options;


• Negotiate the best deal for pricing and supply contracts ensure that the products and supplies are high quality;


• Create and maintain inventory of all incoming and current supplies;


• Maintain and update list of suppliers and their qualifications, delivery times, and potential future development Working with team members and Procurement Manager to complete duties as needed


• Issuing and receiving items and documents at the stores


• Ensuring proper reconciliation


• Any other duties as may be assigned by the Supervisor

Qualifications 

• Be a Kenyan citizen;


• Must have a KCSE C- and above.


• Diploma in Supply Chain Management from Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supplies or its equivalent from a recognized institution.


• Have working working experience of at least two 2 years with government or large institution


• Must be conversant with the Public Procurement and Asset Disposal Act (PPADA) 2015


• Shown merit and ability as reflected in work performance and


• Has experience in IFMIS operations and specifically e-procurement


• Shown merit and ability as reflected in work performance and


• Must satisfy the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya 2010
