Job Title: Supply Chain Supervisor

Industry: Renewable Energy.

Job Purpose: Supply Chain supervisor coordinates, organizes, and oversees all activities involved in the identification, acquisition, production, and distribution of the companies’ goods.

Responsibilities

• Lead the supply chain team to source and procure the right material at the right price and quality.


• Monitor, Evaluate and be the key Custodian of all contracts with suppliers.


• Negotiate with key suppliers for components and 3rd party logistics partners.


• Manage and minimize the risks that could affect or interrupt the supply chain


• Key custodian of Developing Managing and Monitoring of the Supply Chain Strategy of the Company.


• Monitors the performance of suppliers, assessing their ability to meet quality and delivery requirements.


• Prepare and control Supply Chain Budgets with the aim of minimizing expenditure and increasing efficiency


• Assess, manage, and mitigate risks that may occur within the Supply Chain.


• Monitor progress of Purchase orders, provide and request related logistic documentation, observe and check the progress of completion and if necessary, adjusting status of the supplies


• Consistently communicate with the various stakeholders to make them aware of priorities, targets and operational requirements.


• Work closely with the Executive team in ensuring effective relationships with customer businesses through maintaining an appropriate alignment between suppliers and customers.


• Any other duties assigned by management from time to time

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in procurement and supplies chain


• 3-5 years solid corporate company experience in supply chain role


• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.


• Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills with a proven ability to create and maintain positive working relationships with vendors, suppliers, shippers, and customers.


• Strong supervisory and leadership skills.


• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.


• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
