Job Summary
Pursuant to the provision of County Government Act , No. 17 of 2012 section 45, 59 (1) (b) the West Pokot County Public Service Board wishes to consider applications from highly qualified results-oriented and self-motivated Kenyan citizens for appointments to the above position.

DECLARATION OF VACANCIES
DEPARTMENT OF LANDS, HOUSING, PHYSICAL PLANNING & URBAN DEVELOPMENT
9. SURVEYORS JG“K” (2 POST)
Duties and Responsibilities
• Updating land records and registry
• Undertaking surveys and demarcation activities within the County
• Administration and supervision of all survey technical works within the County
• Implementation of boundary dispute resolutions
• Implementation of land related Court
• Any other duties as may be assigned by the Supervisor
Requirements for Appointment
• Be a Kenyan citizen;
• Degree in any of the following fields: Land Survey, Surveys and Mapping, Cartography, Geo – Informatics or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution
• Strong Computer Proficiency
• Fully registered member of Institute of Surveyors of Kenya
• Shown merit and ability as reflected in work performance and
• Must satisfy the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya
Terms of Service:
• 3 years Contract renewable subject to performance.
• Salary as prescribed by SRC.
