Position Title: T24 Developer

Location: Techsavanna Company, Nairobi

Key Responsibilities: The T24 Developer is responsible for providing state-of-the-art software solutions and elaborate software development methodology while working closely with the IT teams to support on IT deliverables.

In this role you will be responsible for;

• Be responsible for T24 software development in all stages from technical design to delivery


• Collaborate with the business analysts and quality assurance team to collect insight and discuss deliverables


• Meticulously perform coding, code review and unit testing for the T24 Temenos system


• Contribute to the maintenance of the product and bring fresh ideas to the table


• Proactively collaborate with team members and business units to find the best solutions for complex technical issues


• Design and implement new functionality and enhancements based on the logged user change requirements

Candidate must possess the following Requirements

• BSc. Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or any other relevant related field.


• Professional experience in development of Temenos T24 /Core Banking for financial and banking institutions with a minimum of three years;


• Deep knowledge of TAFC/jBASE, InfoBasic (jBC), jQL, OFS, jAgent;


• Experience in T24 template programming, T24 customization (VERSION, ENQUIRY, online services), COB;


• Deep understanding of the following T24 modules: System Core tables, Funds Transfer, Money Market, Forex, Securities, Derivatives, Swaps etc.


• Excellent algorithmic skills and problem solving capabilities;


• Understanding of modern software development concepts like Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery.

Desirable Skills

• Knowledge of C-like programming languages or Python would be a plus.


• Ability to work independently on tasks.


• Strong oral and written communication skills.
