Job Title: Technical Marketing Representative

Salary: Competitive

Location: Nairobi (with travel around East Africa)

Reporting to: Marketing Services Manager

Our client is one of the major laboratory supply firms in East Africa that is specialized in provision of laboratory analysis equipment and supply of water testing equipment and reagents as well as Biotechnology products.

They seek to hire a Technical Marketing Representative to open up markets and increase sales for the company.

Responsibilities

• To identify and provide sales and marketing services of our products to clients in East Africa.


• To plan and execute marketing activities appropriately to realize time to time sales targets.


• To build and strengthen business relationships with our clients all over East Africa.


• To continuously and consistently improve profitability by meeting set business performance.

Requirements

• A minimum of a University degree or Higher National Diploma in any of the following areas: Industrial/Analytical Chemistry, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Biological Sciences, Medical


• Laboratory Technology, Food technology or any related qualifications.


• Should be very fluent in written and spoken English, presentable, mature and an excellent communicator.


• Previous experience in marketing of products of our specialty will be an added advantage.


• Be self-motivated, enthusiastic, organized and thorough.


• Must be a team player and must work closely with the management and other personnel in order to serve our customers efficiently.


• Possess the ability to learn and work on changing and emerging technologies.
