Career Employment Technical Sales Nairobi Kenya March 2019 


Job Summary


We are looking for technical sales staff, preferably if they have experience in lighting, otherwise electrical if possible.


Technical sales will be the point of contact for clients, answering queries, providing technical advice and introducing new products.

Meet consultants/architects, prepare technical quotes and sell from our online and retail shop.
Any other engineering background is also okay.


Responsibilities



  1. Identifying and establishing new business


  2. Organizing sales visits



  3. Liaising with existing clients



  4. Preparing tenders, proposals and quotations



  5. Providing pre-sales and post-sales support



  6. Negotiating contracts, terms and conditions



  7. Reviewing cost and sales performance



  8. Writing reports and sales literature



  9. Providing product education and advice



  10. Attending trade exhibitions, conferences and meetings


  11. Ensuring that sales targets are met


Job Requirements


Required education: Diploma, Associate's degree
Required relevant work experience: 3 years
Required languages: English (Spoken: fluent | Written: fluent)
