Job Summary
The person is responsible for tasks associated with the installation of Access Control, CCTV and Intrusion Systems as per JD though not all inclusive

Job Description
Specific Essential Functions:
i) Install CCTV, Access Control, and Intrusion hardware cabling and other forms of cabling as technology continues to evolve.
ii) Assist in testing of installed equipment and provide basic programming, such as, adding card readers, cameras and alarm points to any system.
iii) Assist in performing preventive maintenance and repair as per a client maintenance agreement and/or warranty.
iv) Assist in troubleshooting, diagnosing and repairing systems and/or equipment.
v) Position requires technician to participate in an on-call rotation schedule. Technician would be available to answer client calls after normal working hours and on weekend/holidays depending on the rotation order.
vi) Responsible for updating team leader on the status of all work performed on a daily basis.
vii) Notify team leader daily of any materials needed to complete duties.
viii) Perform additional Technician and related functions as assigned by the team leader and deemed within the general skill and ability level of a productive Security Technician in our industry.
Job Skills & Qualities Required:
a) Must be a holder of Bachelor degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering or Diploma in Electronic Engineering, Information Technology, and Telecommunications Engineering.
b) Display a positive attitude to fellow team members and clients.
c) Willingness and ability to be a team player.
d) Ability to focus and complete assigned tasks and prioritize when given multiple tasks.
e) Organizational, analytical, and detail-oriented abilities.
f) Ability to thrive in a fast paced, time sensitive environment.
g) Strong communication skills, attention to detail and follow through
h) Maintain client privacy and personal professionalism at all times.
