Job Title: Temporary ICT Officer

Industry: Oil and Gas industry

Location: Nairobi

Main Responsibilities.

• Maintains network performance by performing network monitoring and analysis, troubleshooting network problems; escalating problems to service provider or to eni Italy ICT.


• Active Directory server administration.


• Resource and shared folder server administration.


• Network Administration.


• To ensure planning, budgeting and actual costs for information technology and telecommunication activities according to the defined time schedule.


• Participate with the installation, monitoring, support and optimization of all hardware,software and communications links.


• Analyze and resolve wireless, local area networks, hardware, software problems in a timely and accurate manner.


• Ensure the stability and integrity of in-house voice, data, video and wireless network services.


• To ensure ICT projects realization in terms of timing, cost, quality and compliance


• To redirect or escalate support requests to the appropriate ICT team in Italy.


• To provide efficient ICT services in line with business needs, adopting eni standards and procedures for information security and protection, ensuring ICT compliance.


• Responsible for preventive maintenance of all equipment


• Responsible for testing and setting up of video conference services


• Technical liaison for external IT suppliers


• Responsible for preparing purchase orders ensuring supporting documents are attached for all technical equipment.


• Any other duties as requested from time to time by the eni team through his supervisor

Qualifications

• Technical Degree in ICT or equivalent.


• At least 3 years of experience in a similar role


• Fluent knowledge of English.


• Intermediate knowledge of the local language (if required)
