Job Description
Consultancy Services for Conducting a National Study on Digital and Digitally Enabled Work and Awareness of The Ajira Digital Program in Kenya
In 2016, the Government of Kenya, through the Ministry of ICT and in partnership with academia, civil society, and the private sector, established the Ajira Digital Program to bridge the gap between skills demand and jobs.
The program aims to introduce young people to digital and digitally enabled work and provide the tools, training and mentorship needed for young people to work and earn an income with dignity.
The objectives of the program are to:
- Enable access to digital and digitally enabled employment for all Kenyans.
- Raise the profile of online work amongst all Kenyans.
- Promote a continuous, mentorship and collaborative learning approach; and
- Promote Kenya as a destination for digital workers.
Towards this end, KEPSA invites suitably qualified and experienced entities, firms or individuals to submit proposals to conduct a national study on digital and digitally enabled work and awareness of the Ajira digital program in Kenya.
