Hospital Manager – 2 Positions


Based at our Adams and Mombasa Branches and reporting to the Chief Operations Officer, this position is responsible for providing leadership and driving business in line with the Hospital business objectives.


Additionally, this position will ensure efficient day to day operations, management of customer and key stakeholder relationships and quality service delivery.


Applicants must be in possession of a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university with 3-5 years’ Hospital Management work experience. Masters qualification will be an added advantage.


The position demands active knowledge and experience in Business, Financial, People and Stakeholder management, as well as active application of Information Systems in Health Care Management.


Pharmacy Services Manager – 1 Position


Based at our Corporate Office and reporting to the Chief Medical Officer, this position is responsible for provision of high-quality Pharmacy Services within the Hospital group in line with policies, processes, and procedures.


Applicants must be in possession of a Degree in Pharmacy or a Diploma in Pharmaceutical Technology with a Degree in a business-related field with 3-5 years working experience in a similar position in a busy hospital environment.


The position requires active knowledge and experience in managing pharmacy services including supply chain management, quality improvement processes.


The position demands active knowledge and experience in Business, Financial, People and Stakeholder management, as well as active application of Information Systems in Health Care Management.


Operations Support Officer – 1 Position


Reporting to the Chief Operations Officer, this position is responsible for Business data analysis and consolidation to inform management decision making in meeting the Business Strategy for growth and profitability.


The role shall provide required administrative support for Chief Operations Officer and ensure timely closure of operational issues.


Applicants must be in possession of a Diploma in a Clinical discipline with more than 3 years work experience in a hospital setting.


The position demands active knowledge and experience in Data analysis, consolidation and reporting as well as active application of Information Systems.


Quality and Nurse Educator – 1 Position


Reporting to the Chief Nursing Officer, this position is responsible for supporting the implementation of a Nursing Quality and Clinical Risk program, monitor all related activities and ensure transparency in all matters pertaining to clinical incidences.


Additionally, this position will ensure risk assurance and management of clinical risks for all clinical areas in the hospital.


Applicants must be in possession of a Bachelor’s degree in nursing from a recognized university with 8 years’ work experience with valid certification in BLS, ACLS. Specialty degree in Quality Management will be an added advantage.


The position demands active knowledge of Nursing Administration, Clinical Skills, Quality Assurance and Clinical risk management.


In addition, successful candidates must have excellent Knowledge of COHSASA/JCI and MOH/WHO standards of practice.


Nursing Services in Charge – 1 Position


Based at our Naivasha branch and reporting to the Chief Nursing Officer with matrix reporting to the Hospital Manager, this position is responsible for planning, organizing and coordinating the nursing team within the hospital.


In addition, this position is responsible for ensuring consistency and continuity of high quality nursing care, while upholding the highest professional standards and excellent customer service.


Applicants must be in possession of Diploma in KRCHN or equivalent, valid certification in BLS, ACLS or ATLS and prior
experience managing a large team of nursing staff in a hospital setting.


A degree in any health care area or a higher national diploma in a specialized area will be an added advantage.


The position requires active knowledge and experience in People Management and Customer service.


The successful candidate must have a minimum of 6 years cumulative experience in a busy hospital environment with 3 to 5 years’ experience in a similar position.


Pharmacy Services in Charge – 1 Position


Reporting to the Pharmacy Services Manager and with matrix reporting to the Hospital Manager, this position is responsible for planning, organizing and coordinating the Pharmacy team within the hospital unit.


The job holder will superintend the branch pharmacy.


In addition, he/she will ensure high quality and continuity of services rendered, stock control and excellent customer service.


Applicants must be in possession of a Diploma in Pharmaceutical Technology and must be enrolled with the Pharmacies and Poisons Board. The position requires active knowledge and experience in People Management and Customer Service.


The successful candidate must have a minimum of 6 years cumulative experience in a busy hospital environment with 1 to 3 years supervisory experience.
