Virtual Pay
Job Title: Internal IT Support
Job Summary: We are looking for an IT support to assist in the management of all day-to-day IT issues that include; LAN related activities, Office automation issues, business application support, diagnose and troubleshoot software and hardware problems and help in installation of applications and programs.
Responsibilities
- Primary contact for all internal IT support queries
- Research and identify solutions to software and hardware issues
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, including account setup and network configuration
- Responsible for IT hardware & software Inventory Management
- Responsible for receiving service requests via telephone, email, and ticketing system.
- Responsible for diagnosing and resolving internal customer incidents, escalating cases where necessary.
- Provide prompt and accurate feedback to customers
- Ensuring user satisfaction with IT services through effective communication
- Ensure all issues are properly logged
- Follow up with clients to ensure their IT systems are fully functional after troubleshooting
- Prepare accurate and timely reports
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in IT, Computer Science or related field.
- Prior experience in the same field.
- Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and other tech products
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot basic technical issues
- Familiarity with remote desktop applications and help desk software
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Additional certification in Microsoft, Linux, Cisco, or similar technologies is a plus
