About the role
The Warehouse & Admin Fellow will be required to provide support to the Admin/Warehouse Associate based in Kilifi.
Duties and Responsibilities
Office Admin
- Conduct line tours within the office area and at the washroom
- Ensure that cleaning is done at the company’s house.
- Visit the company’s house twice a week Monday and Friday for meter reading and checking if everything is in order.
- Following up on invoices monthly for the utilities, KLF house as well.
- Booking for employees coming to KLF, also assisting in settling down.
- Running errands in town. Mostly twice a week. purchase of items on the local vendor.
- Assist in conducting stock counts – done on monthly basis.
Warehouse
- Cleaning and arranging the warehouse, done every Monday during the stock count.
- Updating the trackers
- Daily Work order issuances
- Kitting of Materials
- Daily Issuances of raw materials to specific user departments
- Managing stock counts and Spot checks
- Participate and perform inventory cycle counts and inventory annual physical audits.
- Ensure compliance of warehouse security procedures and health and safety according to company standards.
- Maintain accurate records of materials received and dispatched out of the warehouse.
- Ensure compliance of warehouse security procedures and health and safety according to company standards.
- Ensuring adherence to all inventory procedures required to maintain accurate tracking.
- Able to integrate good warehouse keeping practices.
Qualifications
- Diploma/Degree in a relevant field
- Experience working in a fast paced environment will be an added advantage
- Strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
