1. Execute planned catering activities as per schedule using approved catering standards


2. Collect and input data on consumption and catering uploads per flight for reconciliation purposes by monitoring uplifts on guest figures


3. Ensure effective and efficient loading and offloading of all catering amenities in order to achieve on time performance


4. Co-ordinate for change of meal uplifts in case of disruptions or flight delays to schedule


5. Participation and contribution in daily DPM meetings and cascading of communication to all related departments


6. Follow-up on voyage reports and OTI’s and ensure findings are closed within set timelines


7. Audit catering products from the Caterer and ensure they conform with specifications in quality, safety and security standards at all times


8. Liaise with supply chain and caterer to monitor offloads and avoid wastage


9. Verify loading of items from caterer and conduct audits on meals


10. Monitor and initiate reports on catering equipment’s return from out stations


11. Initiate communication without station on back catered meals and ensure last minute changes are applied


12. Monitoring of SPML’s and ensuring that they are loaded and handed over to crew on flights ex- NBO


13. Solicit feedback from crew on catering service for purpose of initiating and improving communication flow between related departments


14. Participate in weekly operational meetings with the caterer

3. Proper documentation and data collection on all related tasks within agreed timelines


4. Daily reconciliation of meals uplift in the iCater system


5. Data collection on WCO initiatives to minimize wastage

• Catering Qualifications


• Valid driving license


• Computer proficiency


• Knowledge of  activities, certificate in Airline passenger Services or equivalent/Airline experience will be an advantage
