Exciting Opportunity: Assistant GME Coordinator

To strengthen our team, we are seeking to fill the following position;

Assistant GME Coordinator

Reporting to the Graduate Medical Education Coordinator and the Director, Graduate Medical Education, the holder of the position will glorify God by contributing to the efficient and effective running of the Graduate Medical Education programmes by performing assigned duties.

Applicants Qualifications, Experience, Competencies and Attributes

• An undergraduate degree in a related field such as Business Management, Administration and Commerce from a recognized institution


• Must have knowledge in use of Microsoft office suite


• Minimum of two years’ experience in an administrative role supporting senior management preferably within a university or higher education environment


• Demonstrated experience acting as a first point of contact, screening a high volume of inquiries, maintaining multiple calendars, drafting, editing content and written materials on behalf of senior management


• Excellent knowledge of virtual platforms i.e. Zoom/Teams (setting up meetings, screen sharing, recordings, breakout sessions, run of a mix of recorded and live presentations etc.)


• Excellent verbal and written communication skills


• Must demonstrate the ability to quickly adapt to changing circumstances and confidently identify and manage priorities


• Must be an honest person full of integrity in their personal conduct and handling of job responsibilities


• Must be aligned to the Mission and Vision of the AIC Kijabe Hospital
