Job Description/Requirements
Terms of service; One Year Contract
Salary: As per UHC Terms
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES;
- Maintaining sanitation;
- Ensuring proper disposal of solid/liquid wastes;
- Investigating and controlling disease vectors;
- Participating in immunization programmes; and
- Preventing and controlling communicable diseases
REQUIREMENTS FOR THE APPOINTMENT
- Must be a Kenyan citizen.
- Diploma in any of the following disciplines; Environmental Health Science, Public Health Inspection or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
- Valid practicing license from the Public Health Officer and Technicians Council.
- Proficiency in computer applications.
- Complied with the requirements of Chapter Six (6) of the Constitution of Kenya, 2010.
Applicants are required to get clearance from the following institutions to meet requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya:
- Kenya Revenue Authority
- Higher Education Loans Board
- Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission
- Criminal Investigation Department
- Credit Reference Bureau
