Job Description/Requirements
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES;
- Providing occupational therapist services to patients;
- Assessing and formulating patients treatment plans;
- Examining and assessing patients’ needs;
- Rehabilitation and habitation through simulated activities;
- Verifying and maintaining information relating to patients;
- Maintaining records and data relating to patients;
- Collecting data for operational research;
- Sensitizing on occupational therapy issues; and
- Preparing periodic reports.
REQUIREMENTS FOR THE APPOINTMENT
- Must be a Kenyan citizen.
- Diploma in Occupational Therapy or equivalent qualification from are cognized institution.
- Registration with Kenya Occupational Therapist Association.
- Valid practicing certificate.
- Proficiency in computer applications.
- Fulfilled the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya,2010.
Applicants are required to get clearance from the following institutions to meet requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya:
- Kenya Revenue Authority
- Higher Education Loans Board
- Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission
- Criminal Investigation Department
- Credit Reference Bureau
