Job Description/Requirements
Terms of service; One year Contract
Salary: As per UHC Terms
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES;
- History taking, examining, diagnosing, educating and treating patients’ common ailments at an outpatient or inpatient;
- Implementing Community Health Care activities in liaison with other health workers;
- Sensitizing patients and clients on preventive and promotive health;and
- Carrying out minor surgical procedures as per training and skill.
REQUIREMENTS FOR THE APPOINTMENT
- Must be a Kenyan citizen.
- Diploma in Clinical Medicine & Surgery or Clinical Medicine & Community Health from a recognized institution.
- Certificate of Registration from the Clinical Officers’ Council.
- Annual Retention Certificate.
- Evidence of proficiency and knowledge in computer applications.
- Fulfilled the requirements of Chapter Six (6) of the Constitution of Kenya,2010.
Applicants are required to get clearance from the following institutions to meet requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya:
- Kenya Revenue Authority
- Higher Education Loans Board
- Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission
- Criminal Investigation Department
- Credit Reference Bureau
