JOB TITTLE: HUMAN RESOURCE OFFICER
Overview of the Position
We are looking for a HR Officer who will be responsible for managing the Human resource function of a mid-sized organization. The Position will be based in Nairobi with Possible travel to other parts of Kenya.
Responsibilities
- Manage all the HR-related functions
- Strategic recruitment
- Time and attendance management and support with Payroll
- Management of Disciplinary issues
- Performance Management
- Handle employee relations and employee grievances
- Training and Development
Qualifications
- Degree and CHRP or higher diploma qualification in Human Resource Management
- Must be a member of IHRM
- Understanding and application of employment laws
- Excellent Administrative, planning and organizational skills
- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in a busy environment
- Problem-solving and negotiation skills
- Proactive in management of the department
- Personal commitment to improving your own knowledge and skills
- Ability to meet strict deadlines
- Ability to work without supervision
- Honesty and Integrity as a value
- Ability to work under pressure
- High Performer
