Job Opportunity: Business Consultant, Research Specialist

Our Client, a Banking Institution is seeking to recruit a Business Consultant, Research Specialist.

Responsibilities

• Research and bring in new concepts on mobile e-banking, messenger/chat-ware and e-commerce applications (called APPS)


• Conduct business analysis including but not limited to data or statistical analysis, also internal business insights in sales, marketing and operations functions


• Write questionnaires, conduct research, setup focus group to analyze user behaviors and bring new APPS enhancements


• Conduct research and bring in new APPS enhancements


• Responsible for planning, directing and coordinating activities cross teams to deliver product enhancements in accordance with the department strategic plan


• Define and communicate project requirements with appropriate level of detail with IT and other stakeholders


• Identify risks, compliance and opportunities, monitor performance indicators and analyze differences between actual performance and forecast


• Propose and analyze new products, conduct competitive analysis and feasibility study on APPS


• Work closely with parties including business users, operations and product owners to understand product features, operation flow and liaise with I.T. and Vendors on development and implementation


• Lead the co-ordination, development, evaluation and execution of the business planning processes


• Write Test Plans/questionnaires, conduct UAT and provide training to related parties


• Identify business insights from marketing data, and turn into business opportunity

Qualifications

• University graduate with major in Business Administration, IT, Finance, Management or related disciplines


• Minimum 5 years in Consulting / Database Marketing Management / Business Analysis / Business planning / Strategy development or related fields


• Data-driven combined with creative thinking and ability to translate data into successful marketing strategies


• Strong knowledge on matching & filtering, customer segmentation, scoring model & CRM platform capabilities


• Strong and proven project and people management capabilities, ability to manage project plan timelines and budgets


• Experience in Excel, Tableau and basic SQL is an advantage


• Ability to work independently and under pressure with efficiency


• Excellent communication and Interpersonal skills


• Strong sense of business acumen


• Good command of spoken and written English
