Vacant Position: Digital Marketing Executive

Location: Nairobi

Salary Range: Kshs. 60,000 – 90,000

Our client is a fintech operating in Kenya and is seeking to fill the position of Digital Marketing Executive who through digital and online techniques and analysis, will pursue specific goals in lead generation, lead qualification, communication, brand building and conversion.

Responsibilities

• Lead on the day-to-day management of digital channels including website, social media sites, blogs and all other digital media platforms.


• Build and execute social media strategy through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging, and audience identification.


• Develop and launch well-targeted digital campaigns to increase product awareness.


• Conceptualize, develop, edit, and publish content that builds meaningful connections and generate traffic to the digital channels.


• Create engaging, informative, and relevant stories using photos, video, and motion graphics.


• Set up and optimize company pages within each platform to increase the visibility of the company’s social content.


• Moderate all user generated content and manage the online community to respond to queries.


• Monitor, analyze and report on the performance of digital channels/marketing efforts


• Maintain relationships with other media agencies and vendors.

Competencies & Qualifications:

• Degree level in marketing or communication or minimum 3 years’ experience in a digital marketing role.


• Ability to analyze social media platforms and website analytics.


• Excellent writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation and communication skills.


• Knowledge and experience of running digital marketing campaigns across multiple channels & products.


• Experience utilizing data for segmentation, audience creation, targeting, and personalization.


• Experience using web publishing & content management systems, preferably WordPress.


• Experience in graphic and video content planning, creation & publishing.


• Strong creative skills and a keen eye for detail.
