Job Description
Job Position: Driver
Location: Mombasa
Job Responsibilities
- Driving the Project Cars under the Logistician / Translator schedule, under the direction of the Technical Coordinator, the Scientific Coordinator and/or the Legal / Administrative / Financial Manager,
- Keeping updated the Project Car Logbook,
- Making sure that car has always an appropriate (more than 50%) level of fuel in the fuel tank, refilling it in coordination with the Logistician/Translator,
- Ability to conduct project vehicles (including 4×4) safely even in non-urban conditions,
- Verifying the presence of the legal documents of the car before using it,
- Any other driving tasks as requested by the Technical Coordinator, the Scientific
- Coordinator and/or the Legal/Administrative/Financial Manager.
Job Requirements
- Certificate / KCSE / or equivalent from a recognized institution
- Driving Licence (Category B)
- Minimum Five (5) years’ experience in a similar position with International Development Agencies or/and NGOs.
- Excellent in English and Swahili Language at advanced level,
- Microsoft Word at intermediate level (a proof of the candidate capacity to use these programs will be a responsibility of the Contractor),
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to manage and make best use of relationships at various levels
- Must be a resident of Mombasa or willing to relocate in Mombasa
