Job Description
Position: Driver (Saloon Car)
Location: Nairobi
Industry: Manufacturing and Distribution (Beverage products)
Duties and key responsibilities:
- Driving company staff to the requested approved destinations.
- Delivering packages to customers/clients in a timely manner.
- Picking up office purchases or other administrative needs.
- Abiding by all transportation laws and maintaining a safe driving record.
- Accurately follow routes, maps, and directions
- Maintaining an organized travel schedule.
- Updating monthly mileage records
- Preparing reports and other documents relating to deliveries.
- Keep exterior and interior of vehicle clean and presentable
- Maintain vehicle equipment; replace oil, fill gas tank, perform general motor vehicle maintenance as needed for safety
- Collect payments, document amount, and offer receipts when necessary
- Follow schedules and rerouting in a timely manner when faced with traffic or congestion
Qualifications:
- Diploma or KCSE certificate level of education and current valid Driving license
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in FMCG industries specifically juicy, mineral water, milk and snacks products
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent planning and organizing skills and the ability to meet deadlines
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to manage and make best use of relationships at various levels
