Uwezo Broadband Limited is a wholly Kenyan owned firm of young committed professionals offering professional telecommunication installation services to companies across East Africa.


We provide fast, affordable & reliable internet service to our clients in the greater Nairobi Region


Job Title: Splicing Technician


Essential Duties



  • Installing Fiber cable in allocated areas

  • Installation of fiber cables in underground & Overhead networks

  • Test all cables and maintain customer specification loss tolerances on OFC

  • Termination of cable in Road side cabinets

  • Customer premises & distribution cabinets

  • Plan of Permanent fix schedules to stabilize the network.


Qualifications



  • Experience in GPON Networks – MUST

  • Driving Licence – MUST

  • Experience in Structured/LAN Cabling

  • Must have experience in a busy network deployment preferably a ISP/Contractor

  • Have at least a Diploma in a Network related field.

  • Must be available immediately
