Mombasa
Our client a 4-star hotel is currently looking to hire a Food and Beverage Manager to be based in Mombasa.
Responsible for managing all F&B operations and for delivering excellent guest experience.
Responsibilities
- Manage all F&B and day-to-day operations within budgeted guidelines and to the highest standards
- Preserve excellent levels of internal and external customer service
- Design exceptional menus, purchase good and continuously make necessary improvements
- Identify customer needs and respond proactively to all their concerns
- Lead F&B team by attracting, recruiting, training and appraising talented personnel
- Establish target KPIs, schedules, policies and procedures
- Provide a two-way communication and nature an ownership environment with emphasis in motivation and teamwork
- Comply with all health and safety regulations
- Report on management regarding sales results and productivity
Qualifications
- Degree in hospitality or related fields
- Proven work experience in 4-5 star hotels as a Food and Beverage Manager with more than 5years of experience in the F&B position
- Up to date with food and beverage trends and best practices
- Working knowledge of various computer software programs (MS Office, restaurant management software –POS)
- Well reserved in material control and liaising with cost controlling
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven food and beverage management experience
- Ability to spot and resolve problems efficiently
- Mastery in delegating multiple tasks
- Ability to manage personnel and meet financial targets
- Guest-oriented and service-minded
