Job Title: Sales Team Leader

Job Purpose We are looking for a Sales Team Leader to coordinate our sales team, ensure the team’s sales quotas are met and support the management. The sales team leader will perform sales, management, administrative tasks such as maintaining sales performance, recruiting training staff and monitoring inventory
Key roles & Responsibilities
- Overseeing the sales performance of the SM Channel including SM’s and Distributors
- Working with the team around Nairobi and the country to deliver the sales targets and to lead the team members well
- Developing new ideas and effective strategies to enhance SM and Distributor sales
- Collaborating well with the SN team across the company as needed and demonstrating the values of Silentnight in day-to-day interactions
- Working with key SM personnel to ensure a sustained rapport and new business development
- Delivering the SM projects on time
- Developing new accounts and sustaining & enhancing existing accounts
- Willing to travel across the country to ensure merchandising standards are achieved and sustained
Qualifications.
The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate the following soft-skills and competencies:
- A bachelor’s degree in marketing, sales, or a related field may be advantageous.
- At least five years-experience in a similar position
- Strong sales ability, business acumen, and commercial awareness.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Strong leadership abilities.
- Good time management, strategic planning, and organizational skills.
