Job Opportunity: Radiographer / Sonographer

The job holder will be responsible for providing safe, efficient, high-quality diagnostic imaging services to both inpatient and outpatients through the use of modern imaging technology that includes computerized X-ray machines and multi-probe ultrasound units.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Demonstrate proficiency and excellence in patient care within the following keydiagnostic areas: ultrasound, X-ray imaging, CT scans, and electrocardiogram (EKG).

2. Creating and adhering to standard operating procedures for radiation safety, equipment maintenance, and quality improvement practices.

3. Collaborate and work alongside a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic care.

4. Provide support and reassurance to patients.

5. Create accurate and succinct reports, with thorough assessments and impressions.

Requirements:

1. Diploma in Medical Imaging Sciences

2. Higher diploma in Ultrasound specialization

3. Registered and licensed by The Kenya Radiation Protection Board

4. Experience working at a busy hospital

5. Exemplary patient care and communication skills

6. Leadership skills and effective problem-solving abilities

7. Commitment to Christian principles, professionalism, work integrity, and spiritual maturity as demonstrated by active church involvement.
